- On the new computer, install FieldX Office from the ‘Downloads’ page at https://dashboard.fieldx.com. You’ll need to login with your FieldX username and password. Then click on the ‘Downloads’ link.
- When you open FieldX Office, click ‘Existing User’, then select ‘Restore Your FieldX Database from a Backup.’
- Select your local FieldX backup, then login with your username and password.
- Then you would separately move your background maps to the new computer. Just move them into the same location on the new computer and FieldX
- For example, if the map files were in C:/>FieldX>Maps, then if you place the ‘Maps’ folder in the C:/>FieldX folder, the background maps will display on your new computer.
