Collecting Sample Points
- Select the Grower, Farm, and Field from the menu, or Tap on the field border.
- Tap on a Sampling Activity date in the menu, or tap on the field border.
- Select a point by tapping on the sample ID in the list, or by tapping on an point on the map.
- Then to mark it as completed, you can do any one of the following:
- Tap the ‘Complete and Advance’ icon in the toolbar. This will automatically mark the selected point as complete, and advance your selection to the next point in the list.
- If the points are not displayed as icons, you can tap on a point to expose the green checkmark. Tapping on the green checkmark will mark a point as completed.

Navigating to Sample Points in the Field
- Select a field that has a sampling entry saved.
- Select your flag navigation mode by tapping on the ‘Flag’ icon.
- The following four options are available:
- Turn Flag Off: This will remove the navigation flag from the map.
- Manual Placement of Flag: The user can long tap on the navigation flag and move the flag to a sample location, or another location on the map.
- Autoplace on Selected Point: The navigation flag is automatically placed on the selected point.
- Autoplace on Approaching Point: The app will consider the user’s location and direction of travel to automatically place the navigation flag.

Move Existing Points
- Tap on an item from the list of Sample ID’s, then swipe to the left to expose the actions.
- Next, select ‘Move’. The app will move the selected point to the user’s current GPS location.
Edit Sample Points
- Tap on an item from the list of Sample ID’s, then swipe to the left to expose the actions.
- Then select ‘Edit’. An ‘Edit Sample’ window will open. From here, you can take any of the following actions:
- Hold your finger over the sample text to rename the Sample ID.
- The point can be marked as ‘Complete’ or ‘Incomplete’
- Tap ‘Delete’ to remove a sampling point. Be careful- this cannot be undone!
Add New Points
- Tap on the ‘+’ sign in the toolbar to add a point at your current location. The point will automatically take the next Sample ID in the journal entry’s sample ID sequence.
