FieldX^® Office™ version 1.5.64 includes updates to resolve slow syncs that were specifically caused by a recent Windows^® 10 update. This release also has an option to display the username who last updated a journal entry. See details below.

The latest version can be downloaded from  www.fieldvault.com/downloads .

Note that it may take 5 to 10 minutes to run the installation update, and also sync the first time. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to finish without interruption.

Resolve Slow Sync Caused by Windows 10 Update

A recent Windows 10 update has impacted FieldX Office on some computers, resulting in syncing taking more than 15 minutes during the ‘Refreshing Journal Entries’ step. This new release will resolve that specific sync issue.

After installing this update, please contact us if you are experiencing any performance issues.

Display Who Last Updated a Journal Entry

You can view the username that last updated a journal entry from the ‘Field Journal’ tab in FieldX Office. Note: the username is only displayed for journal entries that were updated after August 1st, 2019.

Take the following steps to view this data:

• Open the ‘Field Journal’ tab.
• Click on ‘Options’ in the toolbar above the list of journal entries.
• Then checkmark ‘Updated By.’
• Click ‘OK.’

If you also would like to know the time that an entry was updated, then checkmark ‘Last Updated’ in the Options window.
