FieldX GeoNotes Released for iPad and iPhone
RALEIGH, NC: FieldX Inc. has announced that the FieldX® GeoNotes™ app has been released for the iPad® and iPhone®. The app is used for taking georeferenced notes and pictures in the field.
“With this new app, users can mark locations of interest, and later navigate back to those locations,” says David Krueger, CEO of FieldX, Inc. “This will help consulting teams collaborate and allows growers to share points of interest in their fields with their consultants.”
GeoNotes can be used to record any of the following:
- Scouting data, such as weather damage and pest infestations.
- Features in a field, such as rocks or hazards to avoid.
- Persistent problem areas, such as frequent drown-out locations.
- Crop progress notes.
- Paths taken when checking a field.
