FieldX was spun off from AgRenaissance Software LLC® in 2015. The company is building on the experience, technology, and reputation that has been built by AgRenaissance since it entered the agricultural software industry in 2000.
Our Leadership Team
Founder and CEO
David is the founder and CEO of FieldX, and its parent company, AgRenaissance Software. David has led companies and developed programs for the Ag industry for over 15 years.
Before serving the agricultural industry, David worked as a Programmer at IBM. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University, and a Masters degree in Crop Science from North Carolina State University.
Director – Operations
Tim manages the operations of FieldX, including product management, sales, and marketing. He strives to understand the needs of FieldX users, and ensure a positive customer experience.
Previously, Tim was a Program Manager at the BioBusiness Alliance of Minnesota, where he led efforts to support the development of the renewable fuels and renewable chemistry industry. He holds a degree in Business Economics from the University of St. Thomas, in St. Paul, MN.
Director – Software Development
Darrin manages software development in FieldX Inc. He brings over 18 years of software development and management experience across a wide variety of domains to FieldX.
Before joining the FieldX team, Darrin started his professional career by serving over 11 years as an Intelligence Analyst in the United States Air Force, and it was there that his passion for programming was born. In his spare time Darrin enjoys coaching baseball, hunting, fishing and chilling out around the fire pit with his family and friends.
Lori J. Wiles, PhD
Director – Analytics and Decision Sciences
Dr. Lori Wiles is responsible for evaluating and incorporating models and analytics into the FieldX platform
Lori has extensive experience in agriculture and data analytics, with over 20 years of experience in on-farm field research and development of decision software for precision ag and pest management.
Her experience includes modeling the influence of weather on crops and pests, geostatistics for mapping data collected in the field, and developing decision support software with private ag companies.
